End of Year Celebration

Seeing the world through cardboard goggles

Normally, learning about rock climbing, the equipment needed and the different types of climbs can be quite boring without actually going climbing, but today..  a virtual reality teaching tool built with Google Cardboard gave us the opportunity to  climb 3000 feet up the world's most famous rock wall: Yosemite's El Capitan. Listen to how excited and amazed we were.

Raven's Musical Showcase

On Friday the Ravens performed their sound piece.  We used a repeated pattern and used different sounds such as body percussion and buckets to create a rhythm.  Take a look at our performance.

Salem shared an amazing poem about his grandpa.  We really liked the way you told us all the things that you loved about your grand pa Salem!

Welcome Back to Term 4!

Welcome back to Term 4!

It is so good to see so many eager faces back and ready to learn.

This term for topic we are learning about sound.  We are very lucky to have a representative from Jelly Bean come in to teach us about rhythm and sound using our body and a range of different instruments.
